KTM DUKE 390 IS EXPECTED TO ARRIVE IN INDIA

The KTM’s Duke 390 is expected to arrive in India by March 2013 and the motorcycle will be its second bike in India after its successful model Duke 200. Now Bajaj Auto’s Chakan is manufacturing bikes for KTM locally. The main difference between Duke 390 and Duke 200 is its engine and engine mounting. But visually, it looks similar to KTM’s Duke 200 and the frame is exactly the same, from the 43 mm upside-down forks up front to the 150-section tyre at the back. The graphics of the bike are also almost similar to the Duke 200. The seat height is actually lower and the tank does hold half a litre of fuel more than the Duke 200. The chassis design of the bike is similar to Duke 125. KTM Duke 390 comes with ABS as standard in European version but it will come optional on Indian Duke 390. Bajaj will try to launch it at less price, if it happens the bike will perform well in Indian market.
